Now that the new school year is nearly upon us the American Focus on the Family organization is warning parents to be on the lookout for the gay agenda in their schools. The douchebags are convinced that ‘the one characteristic of the gay agenda in the public school system is that it’s sneaky.’ After all, those gays will do just about anything to suck children into their heinous lifestyle choice.
But really, there is nothing at all hidden about the gay agenda as this youtube attests:
Sigh, if all those Christian hypocrites would stop worrying about where some men like to stick their dicks and actually put their money where their mouths were(you know like adopting unwanted children, helping those less fortunate than themselves, and volunteering to (name your charity)) the world would be a much better place.
I know it ain’t gonna happen but I still hope and pray that one day it will.
Until just the other day I had no idea that such a thing as the “Conservapedia” existed. I heartily wish I still didn’t.
The Conservapedia bills itself as the “trustworthy encyclopedia.” What a load of crap.
Rarely does so much stupidity exist in one place. I’m surprised that the level of stupidity that the site exhibits is so high, I’m surprised that it doesn’t sink under its own weight.
On the other hand, with the all stupidity on display for the entire world to see, it makes it much easier to mock.
Needless to say the evils of evolution are fully described.
The fossil record is often used as evidence in the creation versus evolution controversy. The fossil record does not support the theory of evolution and is one of the flaws in the theory of evolution. In 1981, there were at least a hundred million fossils that were catalogued and identified in the world’s museums. Despite the aforementioned large number of fossils available to scientists in 1981, evolutionist Mark Ridley, who currently serves as a professor of zoology at Oxford, was forced to confess: “In any case, no real evolutionist, whether gradualist or punctuationist, uses the fossil record as evidence in favour of the theory of evolution as opposed to special creation.”
Oh, this is simply too delicious for words. Yet ANOTHER prominent American Christian anti gay fundamentalist is actually really, really gay. As in flaming. As in he likes to get fucked by barely legal boys when he’s old enough to be their grandfather.
Oh, and it gets better. Dr. George Rekers likes barely legal boys so much that he hired one from rentboy.com(NSFW) to go on a ten day vacation with him!
Wait! There’s more! Dr Rekers is
the Distinguished Professor(Emeritus)[BB ie retired] of Neuropsychiatry & Behavioral Science, Research Director for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, and Chairman of Faculty in Psychology. He received his Ph.D. in human developmental psychology from the University of California, Los Angeles, his Th.D. from the University of South Africa, and his MBA from Southern Wesleyan University. He has authored nine books, over 120 academic journal articles, and numerous book chapters.
In 1983 Rekers was on the founding board of the James Dobson’s Family Research Council. It is of the most important(if not the most important) Christian fundamentalist lobbying group in the United States today.
- Since the early 1990’s, FRC has emerged as a leading conservative think-tank championing “traditional family values” by lobbying for state-sponsored prayer in public schools, private school “vouchers,” abstinence-only programs, filtering software on public library computers, the right to discriminate against gay men and lesbians.
- FRC’s objective is to establish a conservative Christian standard of morality in all of America’s domestic and foreign policy.
- FRC has dedicated itself to working against reproductive freedom, sex education, equal rights for gays and lesbians and their families, funding of the National Endowment for the Arts and the Corporation for Public Broadcasting. FRC supports a school prayer amendment and would like to ‘disestablish’ the Department of Education.
To say that the FRC is virulently anti gay would be understating the matter. For the FRC there simply is no crime that gays are not capable of.. from pedophilia, to necrophilia, to zoophilia…. you name the perversion and it will always be the gays’ fault.
Rekers is a board member of the National Association for Research & Therapy of Homosexuality (NARTH), an organization that systematically attempts to turn gay people straight. And the Huffington Post recently singled out Rekers as a member of the American College of Pediatricians — an official-sounding outfit in Gainesville that purveys lurid, youth-directed literature accusing gays of en masse coprophilia. (In an email, the college’s Lisa Hawkins wrote, “ACPeds feels privileged to have a scholar of Dr. Rekers’ stature affiliated with our organization. I am sure you will find Prof. Rekers to be an immaculate clinician/scholar, and a warm human being.”)
In other words this is a dude and spent his entire life living a lie. His entire professional career is based on the premise of curing gays.
And this is a big, big story. This is like finding out that the Pope, after a lifetime of preaching priestly celibacy, has been secretly married for 50 years with children and grandchildren to his name.
Speaking in the third person, Dr. Rekers put up this statement on his blog:
“A recent article in an alternative newspaper cleverly gave false impressions of inappropriate behavior because of its misleading innuendo, incorrectly implying that Professor George Rekers used the Rentboy website to hire a prostitute to accompany him on a recent trip. Contrary to Internet stories based on this slanderous article, following medical advice Professor George Rekers requires an assistant to lift his luggage in his travels because of an ongoing condition following surgery. His family, local friends, and even another university professor colleague have offered to accompany him on trips to lift luggage. Professor Rekers was not involved in any illegal or sexual behavior with his travel assistant.”
For a split second I almost felt sorry for the good doctor. To have your life’s work destroyed by unlucky chance has got to be tough. But then I thought of all the lives that he has surely twisted and destroyed by lies he himself knew to be false and my sympathy disappeared.
Oh and the hustler himself has been outed. While he’s not my cup of tea and I certainly wouldn’t pay him for sex, neither would I kick him out of bed either.

His profile on rentboy.com said

Watching every “Christian” organization he ever worked with disown him is going to be delicious to watch. Unfortunately it won’t destroy them and they’ll still be out there ruining lives but maybe without Dr. Rekers… there might be a few less lives lost.
What a bunch of miserable lowlife motherfuckers.
What a bunch of morally vacuous eggheads, champagne socialists, maroons, nitwits, fuckwads, numbskulls, pond scum and nimrods.
Talk about being totally divorced from reality.
How to discredit yourself, your university, and professors everywhere.
Just sign a letter criticizing scholarships for children of fallen soldiers as “glorification of Canadian imperialism in Afghanistan.”
Normally, I’m not in favour of the use of human shields but I think the sixteen “people”(to use a term loosely) who put their names to this screed would make perfect candidates.
Ship ‘em out to Afghanistan and have them walk in front of our patrols. That way they could serve their country. I, for one, would not mourn them when they trigger an IED.
Needless to say every other sane person in the country is defending the idea and program.

Well, that was a quick a political flip flop as I’ve ever seen in politics.
The federal government, which sparked controversy after suggesting it might make changes to the lyrics of O Canada, has decided to leave the national anthem alone.
“We offered to hear from Canadians on this issue and they have already spoken loud and clear. They overwhelmingly do not want to open the issue,” said Dimitri Soudas, a spokesman for the Prime Minister’s Office. “The government will not proceed any further to change our national anthem.”
The government couldn’t have gotten out the announcement that there will be no changes made to the lyrics of the anthem after all any faster than they did.
Talk about democracy in action. No sooner did the proposal see the light of day than the people let the politicians know in no uncertain terms what they thought of idea. I think the kindest words about the change were “political correctness run amok.”
the most trenchant column from the punditocracy was Don Martin’s “Tories backpedal on anthem change.” This is off topic but I can’t help but wonder who’s been pissing in Mr. Martin’s corn flakes this last little while. He’s been having more than few hissy fits about the Tories lately.
According to Mr Martin the initiative to change the lyrics came straight from the Dark Lord himself.
Insiders who have polled the Conservative caucus found more than nine out of ten MPs were opposed to any anthem change.
It infuriated the Conservative base and captivated all political water cooler conversation, dwarfing debate about the Throne Speech and federal budget. If this was intended as a bad-news diversion, it may have worked too well.
Sensing it had a major mistake on its hands, the government reacted almost immediately.
Barely an hour after the Throne Speech was delivered, an MP ‘talking point’ was rushed out from the PMO insisting the government was “not taking a position. We are simply suggesting that a parliamentary committee examine the subject and report back to Parliament.”
That’s politic-speak for backpedalling, which yesterday became a full-on sprint.
I can’t help but wonder though about which “base” Mr. Martin is thinking of. Was he thinking of the Tories who were, with the notable exceptions of Mr. Harper and Ms Ruth, against the plan or the 95%+ of Canadians who voiced their disapproval?
So I guess all the feminists who can’t bear to sing the word “sons” will just have to take one for the team this time around.
Speaking of the people, here are some people singing O Canada at Canada’s national game:
It’s nice to be in good company. Ms Hebert has a column out analysing the Tories’ reference to the Supreme Court regarding a national securities commission.
Of course, she puts the argument much better than I ever could. Sigh.
Today’s edition of the Hill Times picks up on a survey by the Evangelical Fellowship of Canada confirming that the Liberal Party is losing the votes of religous Canadians. Formerly solidly in the Liberal camp for generations, the majority of Catholics for instance are now voting Tory. This would have been unheard of even a decade ago.
There were a couple of things that I like about the study and the Hill Times’ article. One was the specific reference to Warren “Barney” Kinsella’s mocking the evangelical beliefs of Stockwell Day in the 2000 election. I find it amazing that one stupid political stunt can have such a long life. I mean nearly a decade has gone by and people are still talking about it. With friends like “Barney,” the Liberal party doesn’t need any enemies. Anyways keep up the good work Warren. With you advising the party, the Liberals will be in opostions for decades to come!
The second bpoint I found interesting was the view of Liberal MP John McKay (Scarborough-Guildwood), his party’s “special outreach adviser to faith communities.”
“I think the Conservatives are doing two things right,” Mr. McKay said. “I think they have engaged the community at large. I think they’ve opened up relational space with evangelicals. They have a lot of members in their caucus who are evangelicals and there’s a certain comfort zone that I think they’ve created. In that respect, they’ve done right. On the other hand they’ve not listened very carefully or seriously to a lot of the concerns that the evangelical community has around social issues.”
In layman’s terms what he’s saying is that he’s pissed that not only have the Tories been smart enough to take the religious vote away from his party, they’ve also been smart enough to avoid discussing hot button culture war issues. In other words the Liberals can’t successfully label the Tories knuckle draggin neanderthals with a scary hidden agenda anymore.
Poor babies. It just sucks to be you these days, doesn’t it?
