I’m a bad, bad, man. Apparently. Bad enough to be banned by Dr. Dawg.

Hell, I’m so bad that not only does he ban me, I deserve my own post.

I’m so bad that Dr. Dawg hurls the worst insult he can come up with. Apparently, since I “love killing”, I’m supposed to join the IDF.

Yup. I’m so bad that I’m worse than Robert McClelland, he of “Fuck the Jews and their pain” fame. He’s not banned.

All because of this comment

I find it impossible to take anything Robert “Fuck the Jews and their pain” McClelland seriously when he comments on Jews.

“One of those volunteers is lying in a grave after being flattened by an Israel bulldozer, you fucking cunt.”

St. Rachel the Pancake got exactly what she deserved. She has always reminded me of the stupid doofus protesters who lie down in front of a train and then complain when their legs get cut off.

Now, apparently I also worship death because of this post. I guess in Dr. Dawg’s world my being in favour of the death penalty under certain narrow circumstances means that I worship death. Or maybe it’s because I wrote that I wanted to pull the switch. Sorry(NOT), if that offends you Dr. Dawg. I just believe that if I’m in favour of something I should be willing to face the consequences of that belief. In the case of John Allen Muhammad, that means I should be willing to pull the trigger. I was and I am.

I guess I’m also a bad person because I mocked Rachel Corrie as St. Rachel the Pancake. She’s one of the one of the Left’s latest saints in their ongoing attempts to deligitmize and destroy Israel.

And this is where personal responsibility comes in. Somewhere along the line there has been a disconnect between actions and consequences in our society. ie if you do something stupid, society is supposed to be sympathetic when you suffer the consequences.

Take a couple of recent examples of this

1. Two stupid reporters cross into North Korea and are arrested. Now, despite their stupidity, we’re supposed to be moved by their plight. Think of their husbands and children!

Now, of course, I feel sympathy for them personally. But their plight? Not a chance. They should have known that bad things would happen if they went where they went. Actions have consequences which they most assuredly suffered. (Of course, since it was North Korea, the reporters became political pawns but that’s another story)

2. Three hikers – all with certified left wing credentials – ‘accidentally’ crossed into Iran while hiking in Kurdistan. Of course they were arrested by the Iranians and have now been charged with spying. Their situation and prospects are not good. I feel for them. But that’s it.

They were stupid to be where they were. Any sane person would have avoided getting anywhere near Iran – a country in conflict with their own. But they didn’t and bad things happened.

So in the case of Rachel Corrie we have a naive girl gullible enough to become a human shield in a conflict zone. She did something stupid and she paid a very high price. I feel sorry for her and her family. But that’s it. I feel no sympathy for her stupidity in sitting down in front of a bulldozer. Any other person would have realized that that was not a good place to be and would have gotten the hell out of the way.

Of course, once she died, Ms Corrie was raised to martyrdom and became yet another symbol of the actions of the ‘evil Israelis.’

So those who do not agree with her transmogrification into sainthood and mock the stupidity of those that do and dub her St. Pancake or St. Rachel the Pancake are taken to task.

So, too bad. At the end of the day if people do something resoundingly stupid and remove themselves from the gene pool for their actions, I will feel for them but that will not stop me mocking them.

The St. Rachel the Pancake Memorial Bulldozer
This is a real armored Cat D9 like that used by the IDF.
Note the soldiers to get an idea of the size of these suckers.

  1. [...] What bothers me about the “progressive” blogging pieces and the articles and opinions is the approopriation of the deaths of these unfortunate women to further their own agendas and to use as a club on those who have the temerity to disagree with them.   It reminds me exactly of the appalling misuse of the memory of Rachel Corrie known in death as St Rachel the Pancake.
